​LINDSAY'S LAW

Lindsay's Law was enacted in 2017. 

All parents are required to watch a video (video can be found at link below)

and then parents and children are required to sign a form with regard to Lindsay's Law before child can participate (including practices).  The form is also located at the link below.

BACKGROUND CHECKS
ALL MANAGERS AND COACHES MUST COMPLETE A BACKGROUND CHECK

The ONLY background check the Ohio Hot Stove League will accept

is through the National Center for Safety Initiatives (NSCI)

OHIO RETURN TO PLAY LAW and 

CONCUSSION MANAGEMENT TRAINING COURSE

All managers and coaches are personally responsible

for taking the Ohio Concussion Management Training Course.

INJURIES 
If a player is injured and requires Medical/Dental care: Manager must call President within 24 hours.  Injured player's parent should notify the League's Secondary Insurance Agent; Jack Bird.

DISCIPLINE
If you feel the need to sit a player out of a game because of discipline problem,

the Manager must call President before the game begins.  Manager must write a statement to the Board of Directors within 24 hours and mail to President.
